We offer four-week, half-day sessions in the summer focused on literacy remediation and language arts enrichment. Enrollment is available for 3rd - 7th graders who are either current Stellar students or for interested families on a first-come-first-served basis. Our summer program is a great way for students to connect with one another and continue practicing the language skills they’ve learned throughout the school year. Alternatively, it's a wonderful opportunity for new students to experience the Stellar difference and see if this is the right fit for you.
Optional extend-care is available by arrangement. Contact the office upon admission if you're interested in this service.
Summer Program 2023 will be held from July 10th - August 4th, 2023, 8:45AM-12PM
TAILORED TO LEARNING NEEDS
We provide an immersive, multi-sensory approach to teaching language and math. Our faculty use the rigorous and successful Slingerland® method for language instruction, which is a classroom adaptation of the Orton-Gillingham Approach for Language Arts Instruction. For math, we utilize Making Math Real ® based strategies and methods. These structured learning approaches are well-suited to the learning needs of children with Dyslexia. For more information see the International Dyslexic Association’s website.
