TEACHING PHILOSOPHY

At Stellar Academy we give students  skills to help them thrive in the classroom and in life.
 
Stellar Academy provides a nurturing and supportive environment that develops students' self-esteem and confidence.  Our faculty is experienced in working with children with Dyslexia and ADHD, and foster a classroom environment that encourages the acceptance of the idea that struggle and persistence are part of the learning process.
 
Students at Stellar Academy are educated according to their needs and progress.  Language and Math curricula are not tied to their grade level, but instead instruction meets the students at their competency levels. 
 
Students are coached in appropriate classroom and playground interaction and mutual respect.
 
Stellar Academy provides students with the tools they need to be successful learners and successful self-advocates for later life.
