"Without a doubt, I can say that Stellar Academy helped me get to where I am today both academically and professionally. Prior to attending Stellar in fourth grade, I could barely read, write, or do math. Attending Stellar taught me that everyone learns differently and, given the necessary tools to learn, the possibilities of success are limitless--my perspective on school took a 180-degree turn.

My 7th-8th-grade teacher at Stellar Academy was my favorite teacher throughout my entire academic career: high school, college, and post-graduate. He not only taught me how to learn and cope with my dyslexia, but more importantly, he was the first person to truly believe in me and tell me that the possibilities of my success are limitless; my dyslexia was not an inhibitor but rather a means by which I could build my success upon.

Because of the trajectory I was set on at Stellar, I've started three companies, written a best-selling book, worked on television shows, co-produced a network documentary, and took the role of a featured narrator in a documentary on NBC Peacock, where I appeared alongside Bill Nye, Al Rocker, and Steve Burns, among others. I truly believe that none of the professional success I've found would have been possible without the foundation I built while at Stellar Academy."

"When I first arrived at Stellar Academy, I didn't know the alphabet and scored a perfect zero on the Slingerland screening. Learning to read and write was incredibly difficult for me, but Stellar guided me through each step with patience and encouragement. I still remember sitting in my first-grade classroom, focusing on a single letter, gradually building the foundation I needed to understand language and gain confidence in my ability to learn.

By the third grade, math became my first academic love, a subject where I could succeed and feel confident. Stellar recognized my strengths and let me work from a fourth-grade math book, where numbers made sense in ways letters and words didn't.  My teachers noticed my enthusiasm and supported my growth, feeding my curiosity instead of limiting it. Stellar celebrated my strengths while helping me overcome my challenges, and that balance made all the difference.

The foundational support I received at Stellar was what I needed to move forward academically and personally. I'll never forget the pride I felt when I received my first A on a 17-page Philosophy of Business essay at California State University, Fresno. Looking back, I truly believe that Stellar Academy didn't just teach me to read, write, and solve problems--it taught me perseverance, self-advocacy, and the belief that with enough determination, anything is possible."
