There’s always something interesting happening at Stellar Academy for Dyslexics. On this page, we’ll post details about upcoming events, past activities, school awards, and much more—so bookmark this page and check back often!
We invite the parents of our Stellar students to read the latest news and announcements in our Parent Portal.
The Bookmobile is Coming!
The Alameda County Library’s bookmobile will visit us every three weeks on Thursday afternoons. Our first visit will be on September 28. New students should submit a photocopy of their Alameda County library card or the application for one to the school office.
Old Tennis Balls
We are in need of some used tennis balls for recess time in our grassy playground area. New balls fly too far! If you have a few oldies lying around in a closet or garage, please donate them.
Picture day is on Friday, October 20. Pictures will be available to order for holiday gift giving. Watch for more details coming soon!
Please join us for our wax museum on Tuesday, October 31 at 11:15 a.m. Moms, dads, siblings, grandparents, and friends are all welcome. Each student will give an oral report, in costume, on the patio. Don't miss this event!

Please join us for the following fall visitor days:
Classroom observation is followed by a Q & A with our Stellar director. Please call (510) 797-2227 or e-mail to register. We hope to see you there!
